For the first time, land professional can study for a master’s degree in Real Estate and Land Management in Dubai.

Dubai Real Estate Institute (DREI), the educational arm in (DLD) Dubai Land Department, is making the MSc available in collaboration in UK with the University of Salford. The last date for registration is 14 July.

The University has opened forms from students to register and join the venture, which runs for three semesters and qualifies graduates with a prestigious Real Estate Management Degree.

DREI says the degree provides the opportunity for all personnel in the real estate sector to achieve their goals.

Al Buraj, Executive Director Dubai Real Estate Institute, says this comprehensive programme is internationally renowned, accredited by (RICS) the Royal Institution of Chatted Surveyors and recognised in the UAE by the Ministry of Higher Education. The affordable degree provides all of the essential learning mechanisms and tricks to ensure students build an in-depth understanding of the complex dynamics and influences of the land market, land management, real estate lies, planning, development, and valuation and appraisal techniques.

Applicants must have either a minimum of a second class undergraduate honours degree or an apt and known professional qualification such as MRICS, MRTPI or MCIOB.

The university will open the gates todegree holder and specialists who have shown a high degree ofexcellence within education, and who demonstrate a high degree of interest in the real estate market such as previous employment within the industry.

The curricula focus on the mechanisms of the commercial land market and its relationship to both local financial and investments markets.

Students will study modules over three semesters across legal, economic and the finical courses required for the industry information and to identify environmental considerations in respect of the development and management of real estate.
